Beginner/Intermediate (Adult)
No experience necessary. All you need is imagination & we provide the rest! Learn basic sewing skills or build on your existing skills. Start with sewing simple projects to become familiar with sewing tools & techniques. Then move toward garment construction. Patterns, equipment & most materials included. Discover the joy of creativity while making your own clothes!

Join in the fun! All you need is imagination & we provide the rest. Join a fun group of sewists and learn how to sew tote bags, zipper bags & stuffies, and then move into simple clothing construction.

Embroidery /private lessons
Learn basic embroidery stitches and create your own works of art

Use your own embroidery or create heat-bond applique images to personalize your sewing projects.
Weaving /private lessons
Learn basic weaving techniques on a tapestry frame loom. Then combine these techniques to create your own unique designs and wall hangings.
Drop spindle Yarn Spinning & Knitting /private lessons
D.I.Y. your own yarn! Blend & combine wool colours & spin. Then turn your yarn into your own unique knitted projects.
Tote Bags /private lessons
Learn to sew a variety of useful tote bags and purses. A great beginner sewing project!
Stone Soup Studio Class Policies:
Full payment of class fees are required before a class begins. Make-up classes are only possible if there is an open seat available in the same class on another class day. Refunds for class fees are only available if Stone Soup Studio is given a full 2-weeks notice prior to the classes beginning date.
